Now, stepping fully into the role of lead vocalist, he fronts a new rock band — Kaki Acrylic.(The combination of the Japanese word “kaki” (persimmon) and the English word “acrylic” also represents his mixed Eastern and Western background.)The band includes guitarist Ada, bassist GP, and drummer Li Xuan. Their name was inspired by the term “hard persimmon,” symbolizing the rebellious spirit and strength needed to face challenges and break out of comfort zones. Prioritizing high-energy live arrangements, the band is committed to delivering raw, powerful musical expression with every performance.
