简介：Originating from Taipei City, TeacheRay is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer whose music spans across multiple styles. With his deep roots in Jazz, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, and cinematic music; his bold yet mature playing style; highly sensitive ear; unique, comprehensive musical vision; and, most importantly, his yearning to infuse emotion and storytelling into his music — TeacheRay has developed a convention-defying, emotionally nuanced, and intriguing style. In addition to receiving solid classical music training from a young age, he grew up in the church under the influence of his parents, establishing a profound connection with church music. Furthermore, he has always maintained a high level of curiosity toward all other kinds of sound. Early in his college years, he encountered Jazz music and, within just a single year, became a vibrant new energy actively performing within the Taipei Jazz scene. Then, he extended his reach into both underground and mainstream Hip-Hop, alternative R&B, and even pop music scenes. Continuing his work as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer, and producer, he has, step by step, infused his own breath and energy into Taiwan. Recently, TeacheRay has been working with rapper Kumachan, serving as his band leader, trumpeter, keyboardist, and bassist across multiple collaborations, while also co-producing the single "520" alongside him and Golden Melody Award-winning producer rgry. He is also highly recognized within Taipei's Jazz scene, frequently collaborating with Jazz community "Joe Trane”, and has even expanded his footprint internationally, sharing the stage with acclaimed musicians such as Chien Chien Lu, Richie Goods, and Kenni Holmen. In addition, TeacheRay has worked with a diverse range of artists, such as Jam Hsiao, 9m88, FunQ from Cosmos People, Joanna Wang, Dawen Wang, Funky Mo, and WADE DAO, among many others. TeacheRay 是一位发迹于台北的多乐器演奏家、作曲家与制作人。深受爵士、嘻哈、R&B、灵魂乐与电影音乐的影响，成就他大胆却成熟的演奏风格、极具敏锐度的听觉、独到而完整的音乐见解，以及最重要的：将情绪和故事注入音乐中的渴望—— TeacheRay 发展出他跳脱框架、情感细腻且耐人寻味的风格。 除了从小接受扎实的古典音乐训练，TeacheRay 更在父母的影响下于教会内长大，与教会音乐建立了深刻的连结，不仅如此，他一直以来更是对任何声音都抱持着高度好奇心。他在早期大学生涯接触到爵士乐，并在短短一年内就成为活跃于台北爵士音乐界的一股新能量。接着，他又将野心扩及至地下和主流嘻哈、另类 R&B，甚至流行音乐圈，持续以多乐器演奏家、编曲家、作曲家和制作人的身份，一步步将自己的气息与能量带进台湾。 TeacheRay 近期与饶舌歌手熊仔紧密合作，多次担任其 Band Leader、小号手、键盘手和贝斯手，并与熊仔以及金曲制作人 rgry 共同制作单曲〈520〉。他在台北爵士音乐界同样备受肯定，频繁与爵士团体“爵犬”合作，更曾跨足国际，与鲁千千、Richie Goods、Kenni Holmen 等知名音乐家同台演出。此外，TeacheRay 也曾广泛与多位来自各领域的知名艺术家进行合作，阵容包含萧敬腾、9m88、宇宙人方Q、王若琳、王大文、Funky Mo 及 WADE DAO 等众多艺术家。
