简介：2019年发行首张个人全创作Live专辑- 《青鸟是什么颜色》，收录自2018年《青鸟是什么颜色》跨界音乐会现场，全程一人弹唱说演，又名《范书雅全创作词曲Ｘ空间诗》。 2020年受邀参与「台北流行音乐中心公共艺术创建计划」，《光合•共谱─转动自然乐 章》大型装置共创音乐人，主打歌《李察吉尔》收录其中。同年获选为大内艺术节「补光系列」 《青鸟是什么颜色 - 光与梦》 音乐会之主创艺术家与表演者。 2022 年担任TTTIFA 大稻埕国际艺术节《全球艺情-原创原味》唱作者，及国立台湾文学馆「我在这里成为一个被动的字」之参展音乐家。 现为创作歌手、爵士歌手、自由表演者。 An art and music zealot since childhood, Shuya Fan studied piano from an early age. An industrial engineering graduate from NCTU (labeled “the MIT of the East”), Shuya Fan continued her studies there, receiving her MA in art, following master’s studies also in art at Finland’s Aalto University. She performed “Hui”, an interactive multimedia theater work, with the multidisciplinary company “transArt NCTU”, in 2011 in Germany. From 2014 to 2016 she acted, sang and danced in the musical comedy “More Than Words”, touring Taiwan as well as Shanghai and Beijing. Audiences fell in love with her alto voice in the song “Days Without Cigarettes”, her emotional interpretation penetrating the heart. Since 2014, she has turned much of her focus to interpreting jazz music, as well as more recently to personal music creation. Listeners have remarked her “intoxicating soul-touching voice, intense emotion intertwined with subtle turmoil” and her “smoldering yet deeply soulful presence, her intense and subtly shaded phrasing. Dark leather.” Shuya performs almost daily for special events and in several of Taipei’s top jazz venues. In 2015 the Ju Ming Museum invited Shuya Fan as guest singer to close their season, asking her to return again the following year to open the new season. In 2018, the Auroture Symphonic Wind Ensemble invited her as female soloist for its “American Dream” concert. Even while pursuing a busy musical career, Shuya did not abandon her work in the visual arts with installations and performances, including being selected to expose at the first annual Taipei Freedom Art Fair, and with graphic design, notably serving as visual coordinator and designing Hung-Jen Hsiao’s 2017 album, “Don't Doubt Yourself”. Shuya Fan is the bandleader, vocalist and graphic designer for “Jazzney”, a concert orchestra dedicated to bolstering Child Welfare through publicizing the issue and donating concert proceeds.
