In 2010, guitarist Kevin Chen founded the metal band Greedy Black Hole with several friends. The music genre includes melodic death metal and metalcore inspired by many bands like Arch Enemy, Soilwork and In Flames...etc. After several times of member changing, current members are lead guitarist Kevin, rhythm guitarist Jerry, bassist Kai, drummer Wen and vocal Yvonne. Greedy Black Hole released a mini album in july, 2012, titled “The Root of Greed”. And in Dec, 2013, they release a new full album “Trista”. “Trista” is more like a conceptual album to express the idea of anti-war, peace and love. Inspired by a Dream Theater album, this album itself is a story of the tragic life of a girl, Trista.
