简介：Lil Silva’s current production output and live credentials seem a far cry from the Bedford-based, makeshift studio from which he exploded in 2008. Although club shows have got bigger and original/collaborative releases have got better, Lil Silva’s musical influence and focus still remains: an unabashed amalgamation of the minimal machine funk of Chicago’s Trax label, the aggression of early grime, a tropical resonance with soca, a semblance with the rugged darkness of modern techno and the sonic invention of The Neptunes.
