REMIXIA channel moments of reflection and rediscovery into their forthcoming single, “Marrakech,” a record shaped by movement, memory and creative renewal. Emerging during an early chapter in the duo’s journey together, the track began as a fleeting melody hummed into a phone while wandering through the vibrant streets of Marrakech, at a time when both artists found themselves searching for clarity and direction. Surrounded by the city’s magnetic energy and flourishing electronic scene, the experience became both grounding and expansive, reigniting a sense of inspiration that would later form the heart of the production. Returning to the unfinished sketches nearly a year later, REMIXIA were immediately drawn back into the atmosphere they had captured during that trip. The result is a deeply immersive Afro House composition that balances hypnotic percussion with warm melodic phrasing and textured synth arrangements. Flowing with patience and intention, “Marrakech” unfolds like a vivid recollection, weaving together organic rhythms, subtle tonal shifts and emotive progressions that echo the feeling of exploration and creative awakening. In many ways, “Marrakech” stands as a reflection of REMIXIA’s artistic evolution, bridging the uncertainty of their beginnings with a more refined and confident sonic identity. Both intimate and transportive, the single captures the beauty of finding inspiration in unfamiliar places, transforming fleeting moments into enduring musical narratives built for dancefloors and deeper reflection alike.
