Bringing together collaboration, persistence and instinct, Crossroads and Lost and Found form a complementary pair, each carrying its own identity while sharing a common rhythmic foundation. “Crossroads” sees REMIXIA join forces with South African producer Chopstar, laying the foundations of the track together in Johannesburg. After months of revisiting and refining the production, the record found its final form with the arrival of Kali Mija, an artist the duo had long wanted to collaborate with. Her contribution became the missing piece, breathing new life into the production and bringing the long-awaited vision into focus. The result is a melodic and immersive Afro House journey shaped by collaboration, patience and the excitement of finally seeing an idea come together. On the flip side, “Lost and Found” takes a more direct and energetic approach.
