Listen to and pre-order David Garrett’s new album ‘Immortal’ here: https://dg.lnk.to/Immortal 'Immortal' is David Garrett's tribute to some of history’s greatest composers such as Mozart, Debussy and John Williams. Arranged entirely by Garrett himself, the album reflects a deeply personal artistic vision, reimagining these timeless works through his own musical perspective. “I’m proud to say that this project is 100% handmade,” says Garrett. “I hope listeners not only enjoy the sound, but also feel the human presence within the music.” Few orchestral melodies are as instantly recognizable as Shostakovich's Waltz No. 2, whose elegance is coloured by a subtle sense of melancholy and irony. In Garrett's hands, the familiar waltz takes on a distinctive lyrical character.
