I gar-ohn-tee. This tune is a type of country-rap (crap).... , if that genre exists... that falls somewhere along the lines of the off-the-wall comedy of someone like, Jerry Reed, Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Stevens, or the wild and crazy Steve Martin. In fact Ray Stevens listened to it and told me that "Nobody does this kind of crap (novelty) (comedy) anymore! "Two years later Ray released something about a squirrel and a motorcycle.... Jerry Reed Enterprises was going to record this and I asked why he never did and he was P.O. d because RCA never promoted his guitar album with Chet Atkins. . Yep. Since then, Jerry has sadly passed away, so, David has finally just released "Chiggers!" himself. Here's to you Jerry Reed, what a great guitarist and entertainer he was. By the way, this turned out to be a reality show way back because my wife Julia got chiggers on the 4th of July in our own yard! And so did I! We got our own blackberry patch ya'all.
