Leisu has released his new single "lookback (feat. G:nt)." The track serves as the first advance release from his upcoming album currently in production. Produced by ViryKnot, "lookback" combines a fast-paced rock sound with emotions caught between the past and the future. The song portrays the struggle of confronting regret, anxiety, and memories that were thought to have been left behind, while still finding the strength to move forward. "I kept chasing the past instead of what comes next." This striking lyric symbolizes the conflict between wanting to move toward the future and being trapped by the past. Through direct, honest words and vocals that balance intensity with melancholy, Leisu captures the emotions of that internal battle. Featuring G:nt, the track gains an additional layer of depth. As their voices intertwine, what begins as a solitary monologue gradually transforms into a shared determination to move forward together. The restlessness of running through the rain. The silence and anticipation just before dawn. And the scenery that could only be seen by looking back. "lookback" is an anthem for embracing every part of the past and carrying it forward into the future rather than denying it. Blending elements of emo, alternative rock, and loud rock, the song evokes memories of "that day" for each listener in their own way. As a key track that hints at the world of Leisu's forthcoming album, "lookback" stands as an important first glimpse into what is yet to come.
