Despite his young age of 23, Alberta artist Damian La Grange has over 300 live performances under his belt. After departing from his first band, Half Chance Heroes, he went through some big life changes and an identity shift from band member to solo artist. This pushed him to become a self sufficient multi instrumentalist, songwriter and producer. His first solo EP, Plot Holes, was released on March 21st, 2016. His lyrical themes tend to lean on the dark and introspective side. Sonically, his music can be described as electro indie rock with hip hop inspired production and vocals. He has been included in festival line ups with Mother Mother, USS, Awolnation and Classified as well as opened for notable reggae/rock band, Dirty Heads. Highlight festival performances include spots at Boonstock Music Festival, Shake the Lake, Centre of Gravity and Canadian Music Week. Aside from touring Canada independently, he has also spent 10 months on the road performing over 150 shows with motivational organization, Live Different. During his time with Live Different, he performed in a multi media presentation alongside public speakers who spoke on topics such as suicide, drug abuse and mental illness.
