“Latvian singer/songwriter UP (Agnese Upleja) with her debut album Siren is probably the best-kept secret of the 2013 music scene. Siren flashes up like a newborn star in the black Nordic sky and lures you to follow her deeper into the night. Her distinct singing voice and extraordinary songwriting gift proves that at the Baltic seashore a new alternative dark-pop femme fatale is born. Watch out, for the song of Siren is irresistible. There is no turning back for the ones who hear it.”
