A self-produced artist THE BOY has digitally released his new ambient techno single, "Sky Is Ocean," a track heavily inspired by Aphex Twin. The track opens with a light beat, layered with a beautiful, expansive synthesizer that evokes the vast sky. At 1:20, rhythmic percussion reminiscent of ocean bubbles joins the mix, creating a unique, chill soundscape that blends comfort with a subtle tension. The artwork features a photograph simultaneously evoking both the sky and the ocean, synchronizing perfectly with the track's vision to deliver a visually immersive experience. In terms of production, the track was completely DIY self-produced in 2017, crafted in a minimalist home studio setup stripped down to the bare essentials: just one PC and a single synthesizer. The official music video will premiere on THE BOY's Official YouTube channel on the release date.
