Starvon likens her style and musical projects to a running analogy: "Running through the Silverlake Hills allows me to be free, roam, and explore - which is what I strive for in my music." She writes, produces, and engineers; but, then hands the vocal reins over to guest performers. She has a vision and then brings that vision to life, by casting characters to bring out the role – not unlike a director in a movie with a goal to pen songs that are still fun at the club, but have some real depth to them.
