Windmills & Wheatfields is the brand-new release from Nashville-Texas songwriter Bob Nobles. It features performances from his friends, including Tim May, Gretchen Priest-May, Bernie Nelson, and Bo Jamison. The songs evoke scenes from life – from childhood memories in the title track (Windmills & Wheatfields) to the first emotions of parenthood (Redbird in the Snow). The musicians each add an ingredient to the musical gumbo – Tim May’s mandolin work on Long Way Back to the Ranch, Walter Ferguson’s B-3 Organ on Give a Little, and Bo Jamison’s vocal on She’ll Never Love You are stand-outs among many others. So, sit back, and let the music take you to from the landscapes of the Southwest to the woods of Tennessee, from to the Gulf Coast of Alabama to the Canadian Rockies.
