The World Famous music: for the most part my music is real, based on real life experiences or world events. All my female vocals "the singing" on this 1st. CD (Its Time!) was done by my girl Lori (LO LO) Lee, angelic voice! I keeps it real because my life is real and thats what true HIP-HOP is about. Not just bragging on what you have or how much, or how street or gangster you are. Yeah, I did all that as well (when i was a young & wild kid), but not because I had to, because all my peers was doing it and I thought it was cool basically..........? We all learn as we grow....And as you will see Im all over the place with this CD. From the wild and crazy to the serious and meaningful. A lot of these songs are me just dropping ideas and later coming back to them, some current some not. Most of the younger rappers fail to realize that they are walking in a path that others previously have laid, thus allowing them to do what they do and receive the types of revenues that we do. This is why for the most part a lot of there music lack any real meaning or content, you see how different rap artists music varies with good or better content. I dont try to perpetuate a personification as if Im better than anyone elese because Im not. I screw up just like everyone, but I try to live right and do right and for that I do pat myself on the back. Also if yawl see me doing something out of order or out of character or un- fitting behavior, please pull my coat tail and tell me to bring it down a notch or two Fame. I love to have fun, so for the most part I make party music. A lot of the music you will hear on this Album is old school & new school type party music Pop & Hip-Hop. Its about life travels and trials the good and bad. Things that we all experience. I have been hit by a tractor trailer screwed out of my money by the lawyer representing me. I`ve been set up and robbed by no.1 hanging buddy and the broken trust factor of someone you "think is close to you" friends or those who you think are your friends is almost more devastating than the act of betrayal itself. We have people in our faces on a day to day basis, who envy us and plot on those of us who are struggling to do better, be better and have a better life. I`ve been targeted by unscrupulous women who brought my children in the world for the sole purpose of receiving a pay check, not trying to be there and be a family and raise the kids now that they are here, but just to use them for financial advancement in there lives (hearing about it is one thing but living it is totally another) ...A lot of stuff on my plate yawl.........I just try to play it out through my music....only through prayer and persevirence i still stand. Like I said my music is real, I lived it all. We have people out there who will come into our lives who will contributing nothing at all, but pain and heart ache so always keep yo gaurd up. A few things I`de like to clear up though when dealing with Hip-Hop in the music industry as a whole. 1st. is the usage of the (N) word. To all of my (white fans) who never really understood the usage of this word in the "TRUE HIP-HOP CULTURE" and (educated blacks), Im going to clear this up once and for all and put this to rest. First of all when dealing with (street people) those who come from the (other side of the tracks) or less fortunate so to speak. The language is totally different. Its kinda like Spanish when one word has several different meanings. The word NI**A in hip-hop, is not the same as the word NIGGER used in the early 50 & 60`s which was used as a negative or a derogatory and hurtful word. The word NI**A is used as a NOUN to describe a person place or thing, so when someone hear it used, some may say wow! They are calling each other NIGGERS? That`s the biggest misconception floating around, not at all..... (EXAMPLE) I may say who are those NIGGAS over there? or them NIGGAS aint with me...?? You may see WHITE PEOPLE and LATINOS in that same crowed. The word NI**A or NIGGAS was just used to describe a group of people or a different crew that you may not be familiar with? I could even be describing my PITT BULL and say, man dont go back there in that gate, that (NI**A) back thier is crazy referring to the dog. Now If I say (Thats my NI**A! or thats my DOG!) thats a (BADGE OF HONOR ON THE STREETS, WITH PEOPLE FROM THE HOOD!) thats means youre family! This means (you or I will bust someones head WIDE OPEN for that person!) So when you hear young (Blacks or Latinos & "and very few whites" use that word, 9 times out of 10) (it is used with tremendous LOVE!!!!) it translate as (I LOVE THAT PERSON and if you f#ck with them, you f#ck with me!) So when a regular white person says it and they aint from the hood......? and you aint been through nothing with that person? You never went to war, or had shoot outs with or for that person? or never had that persons back in some real f#cked up situation? ( You don`t really qualify to use that word because no-one will know where youre coming from by saying it?) or they will "emiedately know" where your`e coming from when you say it.....you get me? (STREET TALK) is just that, (STREET!) Its more of (knowing when the usage of regular words are being turned into codes) and if you AINT STREET you will hear {one thing} (when we are saying something TOTALLY DIFFERENT!) This keeps people you dont want in your business, out of your business. If you hear a black person or Latino in the (HOOD) say here come them CRACKERS! 9 times out of 10 that means its the POLICE! it could be a BLACK COP DRIVING.. makes no difference, it still means the police is coming. If they out right call a (white person) a CRACKER in the (HOOD) and that white person is not a racist? Thats not used in a negative text either? Its just to alert you that an (UNKNOWN WHITE PERSON) is in the area. Its kinda funny but (Blacks and (HOOD) Latinos are just as uncomfortable around "unknown" white people) in our area as white people are of us. Why? because if they dont live around there or arent buying drugs, thats an undercover cops or Feds period, cause everyone in the hood, knows everyone in the hood or knows of you indirectly. So if you aint hood and nobody knows you in that hood? You are subjecting yourself to real physical danger! Not to offend anyone mind you, just giving those of you who really don`t know or understand, some insights to help you better understand some of the things you may be hearing on different CD`s from time to time. (MY PERSONAL TAKE ON IT ALL..?) I celebrate and embrace all of our differences and similarities, ( I wasnt raised to hate in my family.) Just to be mindful of those who are misguided and taught to embrace that negative mental train of thought. I love all, who has love for me. ( not my place to judge GOD created us all) its man who keeps the B.S. going! Since Im on the subject, do you know who (is the number one of the majior contributors) to BAD RACE RELATIONS IN AMERICA AND WORLD WIDE? ITS HOLLYWOOD! Have you ever noticed that in most movies, most commercials, T.V. shows, when it comes to Blacks we always get shitty roles which will {build us up but always tear us down} and or leave a bad taste in your mouth? Always the prostitute, the snitch, the asshole, the one who dies first in the movie or in worst fashion, rarely the hero or the guy who gets the girl, the funny criminal or dirty crook, always getting mis-treeted, always being loud and abrasive, the joke or illiterate etc.etc.? (THESE ARE THE ROLES THEY WRITE FOR US) to play in Hollywood. Other than being a comedian to regularly discredit and be-little our race! And Im just saying, we all have some un-desireables in EVERY RACE ON THE PLANET, but they seem to regularly target us and they have been doing this for years, why? When we as a race of people are so blessed with tallents and wisdom unmatched, when given a fair chance we always rise to the top of whatever field of our choice? Sports, Music, Science most of our contributions are with held or kept secrete and seldomly made public. Do you guy`s know what type of message HOLLYWOOD is sending to the public? Do you know what this does? It "subconciously" sends a false sense of security to other races that its okay to willfully disrespect us? Sending a message that all Blacks are alike and passive? So its ok to mis-treet them..... really? And when we see these little movies of the street gangsters being bumbling idiots? We laugh cause that`s "TRUE" entertainment to us in the hood or those of us who live this. HOLLYWOOD constantly makes a mockery of the hood?And these are people who will kill you and wont think twice about it? So dont buy into (this nonsense) that HOLLYWOOD be pushing and promoting for years! To promote on going friction between races. When we all could be living on such a higher plain as people period. (THERE ARE BLACK PEOPLE OUT THERE, THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE AFRAID OF!!!) just like mainstream whites distance themselves from "rednecks" & whites that they call "white trash" you follow me? The only difference is, we know how to spot them! Unfortunately having growing up with some of them or living in some of the same areas. These are people who have been in and out of jail all their life, people who dont have ANYTHING to loose.......? people who ARE NOT afraid of death! I call them local extreme-est! In the hood we call them (DEATH STRUCK) cause they are on borrowed time because they are destined to do something real F-uped! They dont give a dam about themselves, so they definitely think less of you and me......? So please do not let HOLLYWOOD (poison and shape your mind) by "setting you up" to think that you could just walk around " thinking" you can get away with disrespect people that you dont even know? Those days BEEN long gone, especially dealing with street people. To many of our young people today (of all races and colors) have dropped out of high schools and (joined local gangs) which has also became an epidemic in America. We are slowly but surely turning into a third world country and anytime you underestimate anyone, you maybe setting yourself up for problems that you really dont want or need. So I do the (man in the mirrow thing,) treat others as you would want to be treeted. We still have a long way to go in America. So yawl just be cool and be good to each other, like we used to say back in the day dont believe the hype! My music is for EVERYONE! I keeps it real and call it like I see it and if um wrong and you can show me, Im man enough to appologise, admitt and correct it. The people in HOLLYWOOD have some (real self esteem issues) I think, with trying to convince "themselves and others of there assumed greatness" It just goes to show, we have to many of the wrong people in the right places, I`m still looking for the credible ones in HOLLYWOOD to take a stand because we know there are some of you there who wont always just go with the flow right? This is why we all will have to pull it together or some day or we will loose it all...........ll My Listeners, yawl are (MY People)! cause you got my back, so I gotta have your aswell.............. and thats whats up!
