When Paul Sanchez turned his, and his city's, unfathomable challenges in the wake of the 2005 flood into art, Chris Joseph gave him the vehicle, creating-spontaneously and organically- the fan-funded, all volunteer, not-for-profit Threadhead Records. That in turn took on it's own life in subsequent years, with hundreds of fans supporting dozens of artists in a much needed stream of musical light shining out of New Orleans' darkness. Now as Chris has faced his own life challenges, Paul has helped give him a vehicle of expression, helped draw out innermost feelings into words, poetry - and song. It's mutual inspiration at it's best and most profound, extending to the whole community of musicians who stepped in and the family of Threadheads and beyond who stepped up to support this album, all done from the seed Chris planted back then, Life Is A Ride.
