简介
Having gained momentum in recent years as a folk-pop singer-songwriter and live performer on the local and regional music scene in Madison, Wisconsin, Hannah Busse here releases her debut recording project - about the hidden desires, wounds, and memories underneath the surface of our ordinary lives. This collection of songs ranges from driving to folksy, from quirky to contemplative. Acoustic piano mostly drives the project, joined alternately by instruments ranging from electric guitar to cello to Hammond organ. "Walking Wounded," "To the Robin," "I Recognize Myself in the Moon," and "Her Story" are lush full-band numbers with rich vocal harmonies; while "Good Old Days," "Sabbath," and "In Season" strip everything back and bring the raw singer-songwriter to the forefront.
