"Swamp Troll Rock"..... that's how I usually describe my music.... but unfortunately this e.p. has no troll related lyrics. A lot of you probably just got turned off, but just give the tunes a try! Anyway, with that said, my name is Mike. I just graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, and with my graduation came the end of my college band, British Phil. I was blessed to be able to perform with some of the best musicians I have ever met and they helped me to create this e.p. With some of my band mates staying at Penn State and others moving to different parts of the country I decided to move on and start my next project as just "Michael Doyle" in the Philadelphia area. I think there will probably end up being an "& the somethings" attached to that, but we'll see. Maybe "Michael Doyle & the Feets"? But for this e.p. I decided to call it British Phil, since that's the band that helped me record it. They are Clay, Tim, Mike, and Nate. I also had help from my sister, Caitlin (an awesome beat boxer), and two friends, Dave Joyce and Jason O. They provided some great harmonies. Also Marc Frigo engineered some high quality tracks for us; I really appreciate the effort he put into them. I hope you enjoy the songs, and to preemptively answer the first question you'll have after listening..... Tim Vitullo. Haha, he's the lead guitarist on these tracks. He's the best I've ever seen!
