Deeper Disco Volume I, is the debut album from Neon Weekend and features the vocal talents of Lucy McGuinness. The album takes influences from a range of dance music genres, particularly Nu Disco and Indie Dance as well as down the slightly more traditional route of pop and indie. The album is firmly four to the floor but the vocals take a familiar verse-chorus-verse structure. It features a DJ-style continuous mix of all the tracks, as well as all tracks being available as DJ friendly un-mixed single tracks.
