In the spirit of February's pioneering Aquarians and the cultural hodgepodge that is Mardi Gras, Mista Cookie Jar & the Chocolate Chips bring you "The Way We Gets Down," an anthem for the funky weasels, the cool cats, and the badd, baby beagles of planet Earth. Cookie's one-man-band of horns, whistles, kazoos, & more bring a hybrid of old-timey jazz & new-timey pop & hip-hop. In a melting of melting pots, the Chocolate Chips have reinvented themselves yet again in celebration of the universality of being unique. So join the family and follow Mista Cookie Jar's big band parade from the outskirts of outer space all the way back home. "The Way We Gets Down" is the 5th in a row "single-a-month" release in anticipation of the third Mista Cookie Jar & the Chocolate Chips album drop (date yet to be determined).
