Impulsive English-language guitar rock with a well-seasoned old-fashioned sound, filthy garage guitars, the fatal rock girl – undeniable advantages of the group. Minimalistic, hard, dirty and at the same time bold and shocking - it is Joys! You can find a lot of references to rock music of the last century in their work: from rock 'n' roll and blues 60s and hard rock 70s to post punk 80s and indie rock 90s. From many other new groups of similar direction Joys features just such a broad view, which gives plenty of room for experimentation and discovery. The band's sound is largely defined by the British sound producer Daniel Hulme, who began his career at the legendary Factory Records and in recent years has worked with famous artists such as Tricky and Delphic. Slavec, the guitarist, composer and author of Joy's lyrics says: «Daniel felt deeply the mood and spirit of our material, he added some vintage and the grim of Manchester gloss. When I was listening to the first version of material, I felt like the hero of a movie, crawled, squander in mind all the important events in my lives. Overloaded, bulging bass guitar sound combined with a thud drum barrels and languid female vocals - hell, it awakens animal instincts! " Debut EP «Indeed» released on March 6, 2013 allows to evaluate the results of Joys’ studio work. It has received many positive reviews for several days after the release. Simultaneously with the EP, the band presented the video on the track 'MMBB'. In a course of a 2013 year "Joys" successfully played several gigs in the popular venues of Moscow, as well as finished their work in the studio on the first album 'Brutto', which was released on December 12, 2013.
