The rap trio Dos Monos, who restarted their second phase of activity as a "band" last year, has released "Pearl," the first single from their new EP, marking their first release in a year. The track, over five minutes long, showcases the progressive beats with each of the three members delivering distinct MC styles. The track was produced by Zo Zhit, with contributions from saxophonist Kei Matsumaru and drummer Kazuya Oi, who support the second phase of Dos Monos. The mix engineer is the legendary The Anticipation Illicit Tsuboi, who has worked on most of Dos Monos' previous tracks, while the mastering was handled by Matt Colton, known for his work with Arca and Aphex Twin. In May, they will release the EPs, which includes this track, and embark on their first domestic tour, "Tour D," starting with a solo show at Tokyo's Spotify O-EAST, their biggest venue to date, and covering three locations.
