Frameworx Music residents Sander Young and Pieter Steijger follow up their recent impressive work with another solid banger: the brooding techno cut 'Omnium'. Characterized by an intense thriving bass 'Omnium' releases a relentless dose of energy like a steamroller. Cut #2 is the galloping conga rhythm 'Calenda'. This one gives you little room for manoeuvre, with layers of rolling percussion, it's a clear case of percussion in full swing. The result is a track that nestles comfortably somewhere between techno and tribal house, and one that will be best utilised as a building block for a set to ramp up another gear.
