Latonja Worsham With her soaring voice, striking beauty, boundless energy, plus an unshakable faith, Detriot native Latonja Worsham has decided to spread her wings and soar! This uniquely polished artist is striving hard to make a life-changing impact on the world around us through music. To her credit, she handles the task as executive producer, songwriter, and director of music with more dexterity and finesse than most. Latonja's first project release of "I'm Blessed", features soothing smooth melodies similar to that of Yolanda Adams, and then to a flavorful rhythmic style she calls all her own with "It's Time". Latonja has been involved in the music arena for quite some time now, so she is well equipped to do it ALL. As a initial praise and worship leader and minister of music she was invited to a quite professionally staffed praise team under the direction of the well known gospel Verity music artist, Byron Cage at the New Birth Cathedral, under the leadership of the Bishop Eddie L. Long of Atlanta, Ga. Well today, Latonja currently sings as a worship leader for the University City Church praise team under the awesome leadership of her now Pastor Michael A. Stevens, Sr. Not to mention, Latonja has also assisted in several music studio projects, featured on several television shows, radio talk shows, showcases, conferences, festivals, along with a recent missionary trip to Haiti to inspire other artist to fulfill their purpose in music. In recent years Latonja has also been blessed to share the same stage with other national recording artist, such as the incomparable Yolanda Adams, Lisa McClendon, and Dietrich Haddon. So, now with much anticipation, Latonja is ready to make things happen whether it is on the road, regionally, nationally or internationally!! Needless to say, this awesome songwriter and vocalist is highly professional, visible, and means business. She also plans to release her sophomore album this upcoming spring 2010. So make no mistake about it, this classy lady is not only appointed, anointed, mature, and hard-working, but she would definitely say she's blessed!
