Formed in 2008, NYC’s So Hideous unifies together both a musical and cinematic experience with their genre-defying fusion of Post-Metal and Classical compositions. So Hideous consists of forerunner, Composer / Guitarist Brandon Cruz, Percussionist / Drummer Danny Moncada, Vocalist / Bassist Christopher Cruz & Guitarist, Etienne Vazquez. So Hideous released the I Balance A Daydream On The Edge Of A Knife EP in 2010, incorporating a string trio and grand piano alongside the guitar, bass, drum and vocal attack. The band returned the following year with the lush To Clasp A Fallen Wish With Broken Fingers EP in 2011, garnering increased acclaim for both the records and the dynamic intensity of the performances. In 2012 So Hideous recorded the ambitious Last Poem / First Light LP with a 20-piece ensemble consisting of strings, brass, percussion and a small choir. Independently released and establishing a strong presence with their debut full-length, So Hideous was quickly signed by the Los Angeles-based label Prosthetic Records who re-released the debut album in 2014. Composing for a 50-piece orchestra, So Hideous are currently recording their second and currently untitled full-length for a Fall 2015 release.
